We look at short people and assume they are mild, but we see tall people as self-confident and assertive – yes, it seems unfair but we often tend to judge a book by its cover.

This is because your height does play a large part in the development of your personality; you are more likely to feel confident when you are at eye level with other people, rather than if you have to look up at them.

We are all born with predetermined genes; so, 95% of our genes are indeterministic, while only 5% are deterministic. So, since 95% are indeterministic, they can be changed and molded like soft clay.

New memories can be built, new neural pathways can be built. So with conscious intervention and intelligent ways of life, you can change the way genes will be expressed in the future.

This means, a child’s appetite will grow, hormones will change the way they function and behave, and a child will develop in a well-rounded way.

Making Sure You Are Eating Right

Food is the body’s fuel and so diet plays a monumental role in growth and height. In fact, I’d even go so far as to say that you are “as tall as what you eat”.

You don’t have to drastically change your eating habits to grow tall; you just need to eat sensibly and increase your intake of certain foods.

Here are the foods you should include in your diet plan to grow tall:

  • Milk is a good source of calcium which promotes bone growth.
  • Eggs are a great source of proteins which are the primary building blocks of the body. If you are vegetarian, you can have soy milk or soy flour products instead as soy is a good source of protein.
  • Pulses and beans are a good source of proteins, healthy carbohydrates and several vitamins and minerals and so they should be a part of your daily diet.
  • Nuts and dry fruit contain healthy fats and carbs and so you should have a handful of them with your breakfast or as a mid-day snack.
  • Fish and seafood are very nutritious and are beneficial to growth which is why they should be a part of your diet plan to increase height.

Decreasing Speed To Increase The Intensity

Always exercise slowly so that all your movements are slow and precise. Don’t forget the story of the tortoise and the hare – it also holds true with exercise and every other aspect of life!

This is a simple tip as it increases the effectiveness of your stretches and contractions. This will also give you a better range of motion, have a deeper impact, and form the foundation for your new body.

It will also improve the mental focus and concentration of your child, as it increases patience.

Improve Posture

People with poor posture appear several inches shorter than they actually are. Bad posture can also lead to compression of the spinal vertebrae and this will lead to you losing several inches off your actual height.

Correct posture is especially important for kids and young adults but even if you are above 18, stretching exercises will improve your posture and this will add an inch or two to your height.

Poor posture also affects moods, and once your child’s posture improves it can have a positive transformatory effect on personality and outlook on life.

Start Slow

Start this program by doing only half the total number of exercise reps. Add one rep a day, and soon you will exceed even your own expectations! This will also give your muscles adequate time to slowly lengthen and decreases the risk of muscle/tendon injury.

Don’t Expect Overnight Change

You will definitely see results but have reasonable expectations and understand that it will take a little time to see results.
